Bruce Ahern is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of driving innovation and growth in the healthcare and technology sectors. As Chief Strategy Officer of Pathroot Health, Bruce leverages his extensive experience in SaaS solutions, clinical research, and behavioral health to support organizations in delivering transformative care models.
Previously, Bruce co-founded InterAct LifeLine LLC, a subsidiary of Convey Services, where he helped design an integrated portal and mobile solution to improve addiction recovery outcomes, reduce relapse rates, and prevent overdoses. As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Convey Services, Bruce developed immersive online experiences through customizable portals, interactive tools, and robust analytics to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing across industries.
In his prior role as Chief Marketing Officer at Entra Health, Bruce was instrumental in delivering SaaS-based solutions and integrated wireless devices for managing chronic diseases. He led the development of MyHealthPoint, an FDA-cleared mobile health platform, and introduced the MyGlucoHealth wireless blood glucose meter to the market.
Bruce co-founded Phoenix Outdoor, an outdoor behavioral health program for adolescents near Asheville, North Carolina, which later became part of CRC Health (now Acadia Healthcare). He has also held leadership roles in strategic marketing at iLumen, where he refined messaging and sales processes for financial data SaaS solutions, and as Founder and Publisher of the Technology Directory and BioScience Directory for San Diego, producing key resources for the regional technology market.
Over the span of almost three decades, Carolyn Bradfield founded five companies and profitably exited four of them. Her career as an entrepreneur began in 1991 as the co-founder of InterCall, an audio and web conferencing company that grew to the largest conferencing provider in the world. Carolyn went on to found and sell three other conferencing businesses, the latest exit in 2013.
In 2004, she co-founded Phoenix Outdoor, a North Carolina licensed adolescent treatment program known for its work in addiction and family support. The family support program delivered virtually featured a parent portal, online support groups, educational webinars and telehealth appointments. The program was sold to CRC Health (now Acadia Healthcare) and operated until 2023 under the direction of SUWS of the Carolinas.
In 2013, Carolyn cofounded Convey Services, an Atlanta-based SaaS solutions company delivering innovative solutions in channel marketing, education and virtual events through enterprise-grade portals offering a seamless and intuitive interface that enhances collaboration, knowledge sharing, and active participation. After the overdose death of her daughter, Carolyn spearheaded the formation of InterAct LifeLine under the Convey umbrella to use technology to empower treatment programs to offer post-treatment support to discharged patients.
Today, Carolyn is serving as the interim CEO of Pathroot Health guiding the organization to deliver an innovative solution using real time monitoring through wearable technology along with education and engagement to help patients and their families reduce relapse and improve recovery.
Curt is a high-integrity consultant, senior executive, & business leader in the ITC sector, with extensive experience in the partner community as a master agent, with large providers, building lasting relationships through agile/measurable strategic initiatives adjusted to achieve results, and with the investment community building thesis and working M&A transactions.
Curt founded and is the managing partner of IT industry advisory X4 Advisors a consulting firm started to assist ITC providers, distributors, and investors/PE develop and implement strategies and tactics that drive exponential revenue growth for industry leading companies. Prior to X4 Advisors Curt served as the SVP, Global Channel Chief at Vonage leading a worldwide partner channel, uncovering and building new and diverse routes to market, and delivering a new GTM strategy.
Before Vonage Curt served as the SVP Channel/Channel Chief & President of Strategic Channels Windstream Enterprises assisting with Chapter 11 restructure & enabling the company to successfully emerge from bankruptcy by ensuring continued sales on the part of key partners. Curt also served as president of X4 Solutions, a national master agency for independent sales agents.
Dr. Mary Flora brings over 20 years of experience in behavioral health as a therapist, clinical director, and executive leader. Her career is defined by her deep commitment to advancing mental health services and addiction recovery through innovative and effective care models.
Dr. Flora has served as a Clinical Director and therapist in various organizations, overseeing program development, clinical operations, and staff training. Her leadership has included roles as clinical director at Montford Hall and the Asheville Academy for Girls where she implemented evidence-based practices to improve treatment outcomes for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Flora has served as a primary therapist at Trails Carolina, Second Nature Blueridge and Phoenix Outdoor
Dr. Flora holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and an MBA, combining her clinical knowledge with business acumen to develop sustainable and effective healthcare solutions. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), she continues to influence the field through her work as a strategic advisor.
Dr. Sandra Newes, aka Sandy, is a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She is a highly experienced psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist and specializes in anxiety, chronic stress, trauma and recovery. She has provided ketamine assisted psychotherapy through Concierge Medicine and Psychiatry since 2019 and brings a deeply trauma informed and resiliency focused approach to the work. She was originally certified through the Living Medicine Institute's Certification Program, and she is the co-founder of the current training program. She has also participated in training through the Polaris Institute, Chacruna Institute, the PRATI institute, MAPS, and others and is a member of the Boston Psychedelic Research Group.
Dr. Newes participates in speaking engagements, publications, training workshops, and educational training on the intersection of nature connection, trauma and mental health nationally and internationally. She is past Chair of the Therapeutic Adventure Professional Group (TAPG) of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) and also offers training to staff at therapeutic and experiential programs. She also studies earth-based medicine traditions, ancestral medicine, rites of passage, and has a deep appreciation for how ceremony and ritual, nature connection, and ancient wisdom traditions support healing.
